The “big boy burger” could be one of the biggest deals of the World Cup, according to the head of a leading Italian food company.
“We’re going to be talking about the Big Boy burger,” Stefano Ruggiero said.
“It’s a big deal.
It’s one of our biggest clients, but it’s also the best.”
It’s the latest in a series of reports that have suggested the World Superbowl could see the arrival of the world’s first big-brand burger, and the company behind it.
“If you’re thinking of it, it’s not the first time this has happened,” Ruggiro told a news conference in Rome.
“This is the second big one.
And the first was at the 2014 World Cup.
It was a big moment, but then there were problems.”
Ruggieros biggest clients are the French media company L’Auberge de l’Arbre and the Italian food giant L’Atelier de Cuisine.
“There are a lot of companies in the industry that are coming and going,” he said.”[But] we’ve already seen the Bigboy.
I don’t think that there will be another big one like that.”
Rigatoni boss Luca Di Stasio has been a champion of the burger since his firm first entered the market, and he said the concept would appeal to an audience hungry for more than the typical French burger.
“I think that the BigBoy Burger is something that’s going to reach the most people,” Di Stasar said.
“This will be the first burger of its kind.”
The first BigBoy is expected to arrive at the World Championships in Brazil in June.
